BF4 PS3 and/or PS4

I know a lot of you are waiting for PS4 but is anybody thinking about getting it on PS3 and reselling it? I can't see the price dropping that much.. Maybe $20? Which is what you'd pay to rent a brand new game for a month anyway probably..

I can't make my mind up and that probably means I'll leave it.

I know my friend outside of iCon is getting it on PS3 so may get it with him, but thinking if more of you guys get it I might be able to make my mind up..

But then I don't know what features PS4 will have that PS3 doesn't.
I don't feel like my PS3 could handle 32vs32 personally? - You guys know more about that stuff than me anyway.

So, verdict?

i will get bf4 for ps3 most likely and like you said, sell it as i get it for ps4 (asap). getting used to the new maps, engine etc., but mainly to (hopefully) find some strong tactics before bf4 competitive on ps4 even gets started.

im getting BF4 on PS3 as the day of release and getting PS4 on  release date along with BF4. Since i have 3 ps3's im trading in 2 of them along with my copies of BF3&BF4 for the PS3.

i wouldn't ruin your own experience by going ps3, i would wait!

I'll wait, no point in paying EA twice. I'll be on GTA before PS4/ Also there is a chance that PS4 will come out around the time BF4 releases for PS3 so...

Dont ruin the experience lads wait and get it on on PS4 its not that long after and its a launch title for PS4 you cant ask for anything more.

bf3 disappointed me after playing bc2, so i`ll just get some mega-dunk-disappointment by playing bf4 on ps3 and be happy with the incomparable better version of bf4 on ps4^^

Actually i dont think it will ruin the experience, if anything it will make the ps4 experience even better. Im looking forward to playing it on ps3 then really seeing the upgrade from current to next gen when I play it on the ps4.

That and I cant stand falling behind. Even getting a multiplayer game a day late annoys me so waiting a week or 2 for the ps4 copy would drive me mad. Seeing gameplay up on youtube and people playing it on my friends list...fuck that plan.

I think I'll wait to get it on PS4.

No point in buying it twice. The PS4's preorders are doing particularly well, so don't expect too many folks trying to buy your used copy of BF4 for PS3 when the PS4 version comes out. You might as well save some of that money for the PS+ that's now required for all non-Free to play game's online play. If I were all of you, I'd go ahead and look on amazon and other retailers for discounted PS plus cards. The normal price is $50, but I imagine with the next generation playstation the fee is going to go up probably $10. So, buy those cards cheap off amazon or other places before the price goes up!

I pre-ordered my PS4 yesterday and it states December 1st 2013 as release date, it's a Sunday. lolfail

And yeah I think i'll also wait to get BF4 on PS4.

okay it seems like most of you will wait it out so i will too.
i doubt there will be new things to learn from a FPS. Aim. Shoot. Repeat.

@Knight, that's a placeholder date. Sony isn't going to launch a system on a Sunday. That's a nintendo thing.

Yeah BF4 doesn't have a date for PS4 actually yet, because PS4 doesn't have one, but given that PC version will probably be out by the time PS4 comes, it will probably be a launch title seeing as PS4 has essentially the same PC architecture, all they really need to do is fine tune it to the set specs the console has to get the best result and redo some menus for gamepad.
